Custom Reports

I'm hoping to automate the calculation of SCCR. How can I create a custom report with FLA & Peak A ratings for components included in my BOM report

I am looking to get a little more information on this.  What program are you using? Autocad 2011 or Autocad Electrical 2011?  Are your amps in block attributes or in one table that is manually entered?  Can you give an example of a drawing that you have and what you are look for as a final report from this drawing including file format you are looking for?

I'm using ACAD Electrical 2011. What I want is to add fields in an existing report, or to create a new one, which will contain the FLA amperages of all the devices in the project, and which will calculate SCCR for the panel using those fields. The fields could be populated from an added attribute in the blocks, or manually entered, if necessary. Additionally, each branch circuit will have to have an identifying number, which would be contained within the blocks in the circuit as well. Right now, I'm using a MS Excel document I created, but it would be more efficient to automate the function within ACAD if I can. Simplified, I guess I'm looking for a way to create a new schematic report Thanks! Thomas Swift Senior Controls Engineer NACS, INC. 13828 Lincoln St. N.E. Ham Lake, MN 55304

I also am interested in this. I was trying to think of a way to do it by embedding the sccr data attributes in the schematic symbols and then using TEXTVALUE= to push it into the symbol from the catalog.

There is an attribute for holding values like this.

It is the RATING attribute and can have multiple instances (RATING1, RATING2) in the one block. The textvalue column can then be used to push this information into the appropriate rating attribute. This attributes can also be hidden if needed.

I use this function for fuses/cb's, ct's and other equipment that requires a rating on the dwg.

All that is needed is the extra reporting function to pull those values out and into a excel file or something similar.

I should have thought of that. Not thinking clearly lately. I have added Rating Attributes to parts in the past.

Thanks for the reminder Brad.
