Custom Panduit

How can I make a custom panduit? OOB only has 3 different kinds. I want to make the new "PanelMax" double panduit with integrated din rail to save on panel space.

You can add/edit DIN rail and wireways using Excel. Look for a file called wddinrl.xls in the Catalogs folder.

I have a additional question about this file. I pretty much understand the "DIN_RAIL" tab; but could someone explain what the other tabs used for?

They are the ones named after Part Numbers and have 4 columns with the following labels: "SLOTQTY", "ORG_LIST", "ORG_LIST", and "ORG_LIST"

Thanks.

I believe this tells the function where to show the
mounting holes or standoffs. Since you can insert the din rail at any length up
to the maximum piece length defined, there can be a different number of slots.
So say the din rail length requires 13 slots. The function looks in the first
column and finds 13. Then it uses the rest of the columns to insert the mounting
holes/standoffs at the slot numbers in each column. So looking at worksheet for
199-DR1 it would put a mounting hole at slots 2, 7, and 12. If the din rail
needs more than 3 ORG_LIST columns you can add more.

Hope this helps,

Pat Murnen
