Cross-referencing between projects

Is it possible to cross reference between different projects?
For example,
If project 'A' has source 'X' and the destination of 'X' resides in project 'B'.

My reason for doing this is that I want to combine some existing projects while maintaining the original wire numbers etc.

Regards
Paul

The only way I know how is to put it as one project. Then use the subsections, that would kind of give you two projects in one.

Hi Paul,
Inter-project cross-referencing is currently not supported. The best you
could do, I believe, is to create a 3rd project "AB" that lists all dwgs of
both projects. You'd make this project active only when you want to run the
cross-reference command. At all other times, you'd have either project "A"
active or project "B" active.
Nate.

MTE is exactly right. This is another approach...

There is also the ability to tell projects not to use certain wire numbers,
which would help you to accomplish the continuation of wire number from an
existing project. For example, if the existing project used wire numbers 1
through 298, you could tell the new project not to use those and it would
start with 299. You should be able to find this option in the project
settings. Let me know if you need any help locating it.

Good luck and thanks!
