Cross reference information after scooting

Hi,
Electrical 2008 will loose the cross reference information after scooting the parent object (see the attached file). The Cross reference update will not help. I have to pick the parent object from the list manually. Any solution for this?

When you scoot does the parent retag? Can you send me the drawing at
pat.murnen@autodesk.com with the steps to try? It should update the child
with the new reference for the parent.
