I use the symbol builder, create a symbol then I click on WBLK and insert a
WD_M block. Is there a way to edit the WD_M block so the layers are formatted
the way I want it? Also, my text style is set on Standard, which is what I
want but the text for the attributes are made with a different style. How can
I change it so all of my symbols are made with the text style I want. Thanks.

Dawn you do not need a WD_M block inside of your
symbols. The WD_M block is used to mark a new drawing as being an AutoCAD
Electrical format schematic drawing. But you should just put the WD_M
block inside your border template that you use for electrical drawings so you
are never prompted for it again. You can set your standard drawing
properties and even add your standard wire layers to your AcadE border
template so you do not have to set those up each time you begin a new
drawing. Just use the New Drawing button and point to your AcadE border
template as a default and each new drawing will start with whatever drawings
properties are defined in the template. FYI...the WD_M block is where
your drawing properties are stored.
You can adjust attributes inside of symbols using
the AutoCAD Properties command. You can do this while you are creating
the symbol or after you have already saved it. Just open the symbol file
with AutoCAD and adjust to your desire. Move things around, set
attributes to be invisible or not. Adjust attribute size, justification,
etc.
