How do I know that I have the most updated catalog content for some brands such as Siemens?

If not how can I update it?

If I can not find a product after updating, what do you suggest?

I am particularly interested in finding S7-1500 series PLCs.

AutoCAD Electrical does not include all available models of devices from all manufacturers. In most cases, though, we do include devices which are very similar to those which might be needed. Using the PLC Database Editor, you can copy modules which closely resemble the ones you wish to add. Then modify the copy to reflect the changes necessary for your new module.

We will be upgrading to AE 2016 this summer. Will that include the Siemens S7-1500 family?
