Component made with BlackBoxBuilder

I made a part with the black box builder, it has three terminals on its left side, three terminals on the right and eight terminals across the bottom. The insertion point of the block is the upper left terminals (x1term01) attribute insertion point. The problem I am having is that when I insert this block with the component picker and try to drop it on three phase wires the block rotates 90 degrees. Any ideas?

Jack This sounds like the block probably has a name starting with "V" for vertical. You will want to rename the block so it begins with an "H" for horizontal and it should insert fine. When using BBB (Black Box Builder), the program will look to see what orientation has the most wire connection points and use that in the naming convention. As you can see, if it not intended to be a vertical block and the name begins with a "V", it can cause some headaches when attempting to insert it. In your case, you had more connection points for vertical wires, so it treated as though it was going to be a vertical block. Give this a try and I think you will be fine. -- Regards, Jared Bunch Technical Support Specialist Autodesk, Inc "Jack Feyes" wrote in message news:3fdf3dbf_2@statler... > I made a part with the black box builder, it has three terminals on its left > side, three terminals on the right and eight terminals across the bottom. > The insertion point of the block is the upper left terminals (x1term01) > attribute insertion point.
