Command + spacebar - too fast?

I'm encountering a problem in Electrical 2011, it's only cropped up in the past few days and I can't think of anything I've changed or done differently to cause it...

It occurs mainly when I launch a single-letter command and hit spacebar - which I've always done without issue until now! For example, I'll select objects to move, then hit 'm' and spacebar in quick succession. What's happening now is the first base point value is automatically filled with an 'm' and the cursor moves to the second value. A small problem, and one that's easily overcome by slowing down a bit, but that's the way I naturally work. So I'm wondering if there's a variable somewhere I can tweak?

Cheers.

Some of my greatest heroes wore eye-patches, there was Kirk Douglas... me on a Friday night... did I mention Kirk Douglas?
