Catalog

Can someone please tell me why I am getting the below image when trying to insert a catalog data from the default catalog? I checked the folder and the default catalog is there. Thanks

Be sure the path to the Catalog is listed in the Support File Search Path. Be advised that version 2014 includes a new language folder in the path to the Catalogs folder.

Hello,

Please make sure the path in the wd.env file is correct as well.

The wd.env file can be found in following place if default install:

C:\Users\shouz\Documents\Acade 2014\AeData\

Thanks,

I am sharing my network and the AEDATA path is at the top in my support file search path. We are still using 2013 version. Am I doing something wrong here? Thanks.

Hello,

Your wd.env file looks good, is your wd.env file in the same folder with the Catalogs folder.

By default, the wd.env file should be "..\AeData\wd.env", and the Catalogs folder should be "..\AeData\Catalogs\".

Can you use the following 2 parameters to check if the Catalog path is correct or not?

Here is the result in my machine, they are correct.

Command: !gbl_wd_catmdb_fnam

"C:\\Users\\shouz\\Documents\\AcadE 2013\\AeData\\catalogs\\default_cat.mdb"

Command: !gbl_wd_catalogs

"C:/Users/shouz/Documents/AcadE 2013/AeData/catalogs/"

Thanks,

Robin Shou
