Catalog Databse error

Hi,

I have a customer that uses AutoCAD Elec 2013 sp2. He now installed 2015 sp1 and we used the Migration Utility. The customer can access all the databases except he cannot access the Catalog Database accessed through SCHEMATIC tab. See attached screenshots.

I then installed 2014 and use the Migration Utility to migrate 2013 -> 2014 and then 2014->2015 but the same issue is occurring.

Any ideas to what to check?

Thanks

Charl

Hi Charlv,

Its possible that the Columns that are new to 2015 did not get added. Check the Catalog in MS Access to see if the "SYMBOL2D" and "SYMBOL3D" are at the end beside the RECNUM.

If not then you will have to add them to make it work.

To test it Add the 2d symbol name to one of the Devices to ensure its working, pick a push button and add HPB11, HPB12 to the SYMBOL2D column and lookup that test symbol.

I hope this helps,

James

HI,

An AutoCAD Elec specialist, Athalekar Mayuresh, helped me out fixing an error in the default_cat.mdb schema and all seems working.

Thank you.

Charl
