Cable Marker - Error: bad argument type: stringp nil

On one drawing (out of 67) I am now unable to place a cable marker, instead the following error is returned: Error: bad argument type: stringp nil

I can place a child marker fine but not a primary marker.

I am using ACADE2015 Trial version before deciding whether to ugrade.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Briggs,

Well there are 2 thing that you should try.

1. Run the normal AutoCAD Audit on the drawing (If it not inserting blocks on the page it have an error of some sort)

(Big "A" > Drawing Utilities Flyout > Audit)

2. Run the DWG Audit Command (it should fix any connection issues)

(Reports > Schematic > DWGAudit)

If you still have issues with the drawing after that, Please post it up and i'll take a look at it.

Regards,
