Hi,
AcadE has two concepts for inserting schematic stuff, 1) block symbols, and
2) circuits. It sounds like what you want to do is insert a "circuit" that
consists of some interconnected blocks, wires, and such. When AcadE inserts
a circuit, it pops it in and explodes it, then moves the LINES it finds to
wire layers (if not already on a wire layer) and retags the parent
components in the circuit and updates any related child contacts in the
circuit.
The product ships with a handful of sample motor starter circuits. Try
popping one of these in and you can get an idea of what AcadE can do with
this idea. Go to the on-line Electrical Help and select the "Search" tab and
type in "Circuit". It should get you pointed in the right direction.

I'm new at this and to AutoCAD Electrical... I've been playing with it some
and I have run into things that I would like help with... I have created
several blocks, now I'm trying to create a block out of several blocks. The
thing is that the wire that is attached to these components will be part of
the block.(ex. I have a three line diagram and I have a 3phase ct and the
wire runs to a terminal block.. the wire that connects the two needs a wire
# and if I make this a block, AutoCAD does not recognize it as a wire but a
block.. so how can I make this work any suggestions would be very
appreciated.
