Bill of Material Sub Assembly Quantity Count

I need some help on getting proper quantity count when I generate BOM. For instance I have a disconnect switch and it has 2 sub assemblies parts that were  added to it (I added them under multiple catalog option). When I generate the BOM I get the CB as quantity 1 , but the 2 other parts that were added the quantity doesnt show up. I have to check SUB category on BOM to see it show up at *1. How do I correct this problem ,so it counts my sub assemblies parts for a quantity, so I dont have to manually go in and edit the BOM.

Thanks a bunch!!!

Look in your report for a button "User Post" and see if there is a sub-quantity add function in there.

same as before,

Run the report on the Project (or Drawing[s])

once you have the report window up select "User Post"

then select "QTY x SubQTY ---> QTY Blanks out SubQTY" (its the 2nd user post option)

that's it.

I have been trying to fix my Bill of Materials for almost a week now. I could not get the QTY and SUB to display the proper quantity of any item. Thanks for sharing the "User Post" setting!!!!
