AutoCAD Electrical wire number spacing

ACADE 2012 : When inserting wire number, using WD_WNH block with defined vertical distance from origin, number sits much further up from wire than distance set in block.

Block update confirms that it is the correct block & path, and moves number to the correct vertical offset. Any new numbers inserted then need a block update again. Also happens with wire number copy using _WCH block, and again, block update fixes it.

This happens in new purged drawings as well as already populated ones. Have tried excluding all other paths and instances of WD_WNH, and played extensively with project / drawing properties and DIMSTYLE.

Not a show-stopper, just annoying. Any ideas, anyone ?

Keith
