Autocad Electrical Project Format

I've use electrical at a previous employer and we are now looking at using it at my current employer.  The question we have is of the project/drawing format.  I am familiar with the multi drawing set that a project is usually comprised of.  But can you make a project one drawing file with multiple sheets?  What are the disadvantages of this if possible?

Thanks

You cannot make one file with multiple sheets. Must be one WD_M block per file and per drawing. It works similar to all other schematic programs that track data. Plus it can spool and plot an entire project for you this way. No need to plot windows.

You can have one dwg with multiple PaperSpace sheets, but you loose a lot of functionality.

ACADE will only update the title block on the active sheet or if there is no titleblock, the next in the list. For example, A dwg with MS used for the schematic and 2 PS sheets with title blocks will have the first PS title block update when MS is active or when the first PS is active. The second has to be selected and then the Title Block update run again.

Dwg properties only has the one set of data boxes for the dwg. These are used for Sheet number, Dwg number, Dwg descriptions and so on.

This means that any additional sheets will either have exactly the same sheet, dwg and descriptions or you have to go in and edit the data for each sheet.

It is quicker to manually update each title block.

I have had a client DEMAND that dwgs have several PS sheets per schematic, so I know how much of a pain it is and how much functionality you loose.
