G'day all
I have critised ACE in the past when commands have not worked but now I have narrowed down some of my problems.
Each Monday at 1230, SOPHOS Protection runs for about 45 minutes. This time is increasing as the files from ACE increases.
At the completion, the memory is full and software relies on WIN7 to create disk space for the new ACE function I want to use.
Some functions work and some do not.
So now I do a reboot after the 45minute interogation and it seems like all is well.
I have discovered that ACE2012 does not shut down without errors if memory if full.
Re-Scheduling SOPHOS is not to be discussed in my company.
SOPHOS also does a quick check about every two seconds.
There is quite a discussion conserning SOPHOS filling memory if my reader is interested.
Hope this may help others.
Cheers john Q
That is interesting to hear John.
I think I did bring up a memory leak in the past but thought it might be windows related (like the leak that occurs with ACE and windows XP)
I am glad that at least you have an answer to why it was happening.
