Autocad electrical 2015 catalog

recently upgraded to 2015 electrical from 2013 electrical.  I used the "add or remove features" within windows to select additional manufacturers to install.  after installation is complete and successful there is still no addtional manufacturers to select from when inserting devices.  it still defaults to the original 3 manucturers that was included in the original download.

any ideas?

This is not really my area of expertise but maybe if you can provide a little more information I can see if I can find anything out.

1. Is this a standalone installation on your local drive?

2. was the catalog database moved after installation?

3. You have write permissions to the file and folder it is in?

4. The file is not open by anyone else while you are running the update?

5. You aren't using project-specific catalog database files, but just the default_cat.mdb file?

Also, do you have both service packs for AutoCAD Electrical 2015 installed? I was told there was a related fix in service pack 2.

Hi,

I have installed AutoCAD Electrical 2015 SP2 and I don't have an issue with "Add or Remove Features".

You can install SP2 from here.

Jon.
