Autocad Electrical 2013 - new version file problem

Hello.

I have downloaded ACADE 2013 for trial. (I use 2010). One problem that I had when the Acade 2010 arrived to me was that my clients didn't have it (the new version problem).

Now the problem could happen again. I have fixed in "options" to save in 2010 but when I run a command like "title block update" the autosave is in 2013.

Is there any suggestion to fix that autosave?

Sorry for my english

Sorry but I don't get you. There is no solution or you don´t know if the solution exists?

Hi

i do not know if there is an answer to your AutoCAD problem.

Hopefully one of the more learnered contributers will help.  I only have 18months with ACE2012 and I am self taught with help from this forum.

I do not recomend this learning method.

I am envious of those who have two or more languages.

Kind regards  John Q

Hello.

I've found a way to "solve" (but it is not a good one) the version issue.

I just created a Sheetset and make a "resave all sheets"

Remeber to set the "save version" to 2010 in options/files

If I find a better sollution I'll post it.

Every 3 revisions (i.e., ACE 2004, 2007, 2010, and now 2013) the file format is improved and actually gets tighter. If you noticed, the file size gets smaller when saved as newer revisions.

You can do a similar thing using the Project Utilities and a script file.

In Options, set the SaveAs format to 2010 or earlier.

Create a script file (.scr) with the following:

qsave

Note: you have to hit Enter after qsave so that the cursor is on the next line.

Run Utilities from the Project tab.

Click "Run command script file" and select the .scr you created earlier.

Click "OK" , click "OK" again to select project and then click "Do All" and "OK".

Let it run and when finished all the files will now be saved in the selected file format.

This is the way I have been doing it for years.

thanks.

I've tried scripts with no results.

As you show me the script is the easiest one. (I feel soooooooo dumb)

Maybe it would be a good idea that in the future Acade 2016 sync its file save version with the acad options "file save version".

I appreciate your time
