Auto Stackiing in MTEXT

Is there a way to turn off the AUTO STACKING feature in the MTEXT editor.

Our company uses a lot of CT's and having to stop and select the stacked ration and unstack it is annoying.

As we rarely use fractions in any of our dwgs, it is a wasted function to us.

Using ACADE 2008 on WinXP...

Is using the "/" common for showing ratios? In the states we use ":" (i.e., 3000:5)

using the "/" is standard practice for showing ratios here in Australia. i believe it is the same in the UK.
