Add a parameter

Hi,
I am drawing a stranded conductor, and I wonder is there any easy way to draw those strands? Can we add a parameter, say radius of strands r=1 mm. Then if I want to change radius of strands to 2 mm I would not have to redraw all those strands, I just change "r" and my figure is built up automatically with r=2 mm? I would be very glad if someone can help me in this matter.

Why do you need to draw individual strands?  Knowing that might help.

First of all, thank you for your reply. I want To simulate magnetic field
produced by a current through that stranded cable. The cable has to be
stranded for magnetic field simulation.

I want to draw my geometry in autocad and then import it to comsol. Drawing in autocad is easier. Simulation will be performed in comsol
