ACE2006 PROJECT CAN'T OPEN IN ACE2005

Can anyone please tell me why after creating a small test project in ACE2006 I cannot then go to ACE2005 and open it. The package halts I have to end task.
I also have a problem with the black box builder. Making a component I thought I had figured it out until I inserted one (a component not a block) e.g. a cubicle fan. I would like it to come in as 1F1, 1F2 and 1F3 and so on. Unfortunately they all come in as 1F1. What am I missing???

Its probably obvious I not yet been on the course yet but I thought I would have a play about first.

Many Thanks

[Nate response: ACE2006's has an improved
project file format (.wdp extension) that lists the drawing files with
relative paths instead of absolute paths that the older ACE2005 version
expects. ACE2005 doesn't handle this situation well. If you install ACE2005 SP1
(service pack #1), then calling up an ACE2006 project should prompt you to
locate the full path for the dwgs instead of failing as you
describe.]

[Nate response: are you inserting three parent
devices as a single component and you want each device to have its own unique
tag assignment? Or are you referring to wire numbers coming in with the same
wire number assignment? Or ???. Maybe attach your sample symbol to a reply and
someone can take a look and advise.]
