ACE2005 not working after ACE2006

Good Day All,
We have/had been using ACE2004, being busy like most haven't had the time to update to ACE2005 and/or ACE2006.
So we decided to load ACE2006 on one machine and ACE2005 on one and see side by side. Things as they are, we decided as a group to use ACE2005. Problem is now the one machine we loaded ACE2006 and UN-Installed won't let us use ACE2005. Seems to load and all but electrical doesn't seem to work. Using on WindowsXP SP2.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

For a while I had 205 and 2006 on the same PC. Then I uninstalled both and re-instaled 2005 only. Everything OK.

I did, however, clean the registry before re-installing. I used RegCleaner < http://www.jv16.org/ > - got to be very careful with this though. Easy to wreck your machine!

After uninstalling use RegCleaner to remove all references to Autodesk and AutoCAD.

At your own risk!

Kirk Paul,

Is it that ACE 2005 won't install, or that ACE 2005 is installed but nothing
happens when you try to run it or it crashes?

There is a known issue with the ACE 2005 installer on Windows XP SP2, the
situation is described here:
