I'm running ACADE 2009.
The ACE_SIG_UPDATE API seems to be very flaky. If I run the API manually from the command line the API works, but it also runs the last command entered into the command line many times before the API runs. (and depending what the prior command was, it can cause the API not to run). Below I have pasted an exerp from my comand line when the API is called. You can see it tries to run D_WIRENO as a command (which is the wire number text layer) then the AECOMPONENT command. It does this multiple times;
Command: (C:ACE_SIG_UPDATE (LIST 1 1 1 1 NIL ""))
Processing signals: 100

... this continues about 20 times, then the API works. Also if I try to run the API project wide or from the block library it fails because it runs the last command (SCRIPT) which fails, and causes the API to fail. Has anyone else had this issue?
What version of AcadE are you running? Also, can you turn on the log file (LOGFILEON) and turn on the command line debug (AEONLISPDEBUG), run the command and after it is done turn off the log file (LOGFILEOFF) and post the file. To find the file type LOGFILENAME. This might provide some clue as to what is going on.
