I don't about any custom libraries in AcadE format. It is too simple to
create our own. AcadE will already work with your existing footprints and
most electrical components are already included. The few you might need to
add can be done so easily with the Symbol Builder. I have created power
supplies, motor drive controllers, and various things over the years, but so
many of the symbols already exist out of the box I don't get to create much
anymore. The existing library blocks can be scaled on insert so there is no
need to create different size blocks either. There are various libraries
included for other countries as well. These can be selected on install.
Since nearly 50 countries have adopted the IEC format this is a library I
use quite often.
If you have a specific need and don't want to create one yourself with
symbol builder, just post a request to this discussion group to see if
anyone else has already made one.

I keep hearing that there are custom symbol libraries available for ACADE
2008. I have Google searched for them but can't seem to find any. Can
anyone point me in a direction? I was under the impression the
manufacturers were going to have them to add as well but I'm not seeing
anything there either.
