ACADE 2014 bill of material error

I am generating Bills of Material today using AutoCAD Electrical 2014, and I've had the same error 3 times so far this morning:

Panel Bill Of Material extraction/report
 database query 2 of 2
 processing . . .
 sorting . . .
; error: Exception occurred: 0xC0000005 (Access Violation)
; warning: unwind skipped on exception
; error: Exception occurred: 0xC0000005 (Access Violation)

This is after I've generated the BOM and clicked "Put on Drawing".

After this happens, if I try to generate the report again, AutoCAD is sure to crash (it stops responding and turns white).  So I have stopped trying to generate the report again and just made some observations about the program.  I have observed that after this error occurs, when I hover my mouse over some of the tabs/menus, some of the other buttons on my screen start to flicker and 3 buttons on my Application Status Bar Menu go blank.

I am running AutoCAD and Microsoft Outlook this morning.  What can I do about this?

Hi KellenGross1,

I have seen multiple cases with clients that have had the saem issue.

I believe the issue Steams from Autodesk 360, if it encounters a Sync error it seems to lock the files.

Even if you do not have an account it can cause the issue.

Turn off autodesk 360, and disable the auto sync in autocad.

It should clear up the error, if you are still getting it it could be a permissions based error. (contact your IT, to escalate your user Profile).

I hope this helps,

James
