ACADE 2014 - ARXLOAD Failed

Anyone else run into an issue with getting the following?  I am trying to run the Express Tools system variable editor and keep getting this:

Command: _.sysvdlg
Initializing...ARXLOAD failed

I have run the command with this installation of AutoCAD Electrical 2014 before, but it has been a month or two since I last did so.  It is a useful tool for finding out what system variables have been changed, how they affect a drawing session and what I need to do to program tools for our specific needs. 

If anyone can shed light on why or how to fix this issue with ARXLOAD I would be very grateful.

Found the problem.  We are running a mixed network environment.  Most of our users are on 2012 and the network Express directory was the 2012 versions.  Once I replaced those with the 2014 files it now works in 2014.  Now we get to figure out how we are going to keep 2012 users separate from the 2014 users.

It seems that one solution just leads to another problem....
