Hi John,
I think that you can disable the animated zoom window by forcing system
variable VTENABLE to 0.
Try deselecting the "DYN" button along the bottom of your AutoCAD screen to
turn off the dynamic tooltips and prompts.
I'm not sure how to turn off the auto-highlighting as the cursor moves over
entities. Maybe someone can help...
Nate.

2007 just arrived so I have installed it (before the first service pack
even!). Bit rash for me!
First thing:-
How do I turn off the fancy effects -
The flashing of wires and components as I move the mouse over them?
The tooltip when I start to select a window?
And, most important, the animated zooming when I "zoom window" (makes me sea
sick)?
What new useful things should I look out for? I notice that there are some
interesting new commands to investigate.
Will I still be able to open my ACE 2005 projects? What happens when I save
them in 2007?
Thanks,
John
