Solved: Reference edit box for a ladder deactivated

Hi, good afternoom. I´m usinfAutocad Electrical student version and I got a problem.
I`ve been trying to insert a ladder but not matter if it is before or after a save the drawing I can not enter the reference number for the ladder, the 1st reference edit box is deactivated,
Any clue that help me to solve and restore it, I really appreciate it.

More than likely, your dwg is set to use the X-Y grid or the X Zone cross referencing.

Go to your DWG PROPERTIES -> Drawing Format tab

In the Format Referencing section, select the Reference Numbers

Now try to insert a ladder and see if the 1st Reference box is available...
