Set Display Order

In our plansheets, we have a topo basemap xref'd, a design drawing xref'd, matchlines & viewframes xref'd, and several labels that are local to the drawing.  Everytime we reload an xref Autocad moves it to the top of the draw order and I have to move it back into position.  This gets old real quick.

I'd like a way to set Display order for certain objects that cannot be overwritten when the object is reloaded.

For example, I'd set the draw order for our plan sheets to look like this:

(Bottom to top)

- Topo Xref

- Design Xref

- Everything else

- Matchlines

I'd like it to work so that, once this is set, only the objects in the "Everything else" category can be individually adjusted, and they will always be on top of "Design Xref" and under "Matchlines"

Please consider adding this feature.

Would a lisp be of use?

Have a look at it.  If you put your x-refs on one layer and matchlines on another, you may find that this one solves your dillema.
