Recomputing volumes for surfaces

In using the composite volumes panorama, one of the opitions is to recompute volumes. When you choose this button it recomputes every index (base surface/ comparison surface) created. While this is fine when there are fewer index's created it, it causes considerable delay time when there are large amounts of index's that have been created. I would like to see the ability to select only choosen surfaces that you want recomputed.  Maybe you would ctrl + left click desired index's first and them select recompute volumes button. Thanks
