Tony, have you seen or have a routine to do #2? I could really use that.
1. One other thing I'd like is the ability to connect separate pipe networks as we often break into an existing system with a new one.
2. Also forcemain pipes and parts such as Air Release Valves.
3. Ability for 64 bit version to connect to ESRI File Geodatabases (32 bit can do it apparently).
The abillty (or lack thereof) to connect to any ESRI data in a 64 bit environment is a limitation forced upon us by ESRI. ESRI needs to create the 64 bit providers in order for this to happen.
Hey Tony,
We have been making several pipe networks in our projects that being 'existing' and 'proposed' and were not able to connect the networks together. However, and I haven't tried this, but it was suggested that we use one network Ii.e for sanitary) but create 'existing' and 'proposed' symbology for the network items. One network, different symbols. May accoplish what you are trying to do.
IN CROSS SECTION VIEW
AS THE CIVIL3D HAS OPTIONS TO LABEL & CREATE BAND FOR OFFSET AND ELEVATION FOR DIFFERENT SURFACES IN THE SECTION VIEW IT ALSO SHOLD HAVE
1 OPTIONS TO LABEL THE COORDINATES AT EACH SEGMENTS
2 IN THE BAND ALSO THERE SHOULD BE POSSIBLITY TO GIVE ORDINATES OF EACH SEGMENTS.
THESE OPTIONS ARE ALREADY AVAILABLE WITH MX ROAD I HAVE SEEN. BUT CIVIL 3D LACKING...
IM NOT SURE ! IF INFORMATION IS WRONG ! SORRY !
A very (very, very, very) modest start on Pressure Pipes is included in CD 2013. It includes some push on gate valves but no other apprutenances. I guess we can wait for more.
