SSA Rainfall Designer - Rainfall Type

Hi folks,

Im am trying to set up a 24hr, 100 year storm using the Chicago distribution.

 

In the SSA rainfall designer, there are two options for Rainfall Type - Cumulative and Intensity.

 

What is the difference between these and which one should I use?  I am in Alberta Canada.

Nothing - it is just how you to look at the data.  

 

The slope of the cumulative line provides you the intensity.
