Round tripping Civil3d to SSA and keeping pipe material and dia.

Hi

I am in 2012 and trying to get our round tripping from Civil3d to SSA working correctly by setting up the xml part matching file. We have a basic Part lists for circular pipes we have both uPVC and Concrete pipe with various diameters.

I have read the help files here on setting up the xml file and appear to have it correct.

http://docs.autodesk.com/CIV3D/2012/ENU/filesCUG/GUID-140E9810-006B-4AC5-93EB-39B670AB835-1120.htm

The Use Imported Part ID for Part Family is set to yes as well as Allow Part Family Swapping. On importing the .stm file now from SSA the correct pipe materials come in but all the pipe dimeters get rounded to the one size what happens to be the last for each material. I am thinking it maybe because its a catoluge brought forward from 2008 and that each part should have a different Part ID  where at the moment I just have a different ID for each Material type in the circular pipe family not each individual pipe type. Any suggestion on now to fix this issue?

Regards
