Pipes disappearing when styles changed in profile

So I'm having a problem with changing my pipe styles in the profile. I have a style for laterals coming into my pipe that only displays the pipe cross section and hatch. But there are always one or two pipes that disappear when I change the pipe style. I have tried deleting and redrawing the disappearing pipes, overriding with that style, changing layers, etc. In the picture, on the left is a lateral that successfully changed to the correct style and on the right is a pipe coming in that when changed to the lateral style, will just disappear.
