PDF reporting in Storm and Sanitary Analysis 2013

When trying to create a custom report in SSA 2013 I was originally getting the following error: "Err-Rpt010: Unable to generate report". I went into Output > Custom Report Options and loaded the template and now i get the error "PDF Report writer not found". Any help is greatly appreciated

This is a plain ACAD forum.  You'll probably do better in the Stormwater forum.

Hi Matt,

You may want to uninstall Storm and Sanitary Analysis 2013 from the Control Panel and reinstall it by running the Civil 3D 2013 installation .exe file and then select the box from the Sub-Component as shown in the screencast: http://www.screencast.com/t/w9svLF6x

Please let me know the outcome.

Thanks,

I have also had this problem, the problem can be fixed on my computer by simply restarting the machine and don't open any programs except for SSA.

Go into the report generation setting and click the set default button on the top right corner of the of the window. Close the window and try again.

I am having this same issue through several versions of the software (12,14,16). I uninstalled all components of the 2016 installation and reinstalled and still have the same error.  Is there another fix?

Hello,

Go under Output at top of the screen and pick custom report options and
click on the default tab, click ok and try generating a report. Please
see the attached file.

Marc,

I saw the post above about resetting the custom report options back to default.  I had already tried this as a solution, and tried again today with the same error occurring.  Note, i was able to use a neighbors computer to run the report for the same file, so i know the file is ok.  What was your attached file, I do not see it.  Have you run into this issue before too?

Thanks,

Yes I have run into this issue before, and by the way its not resetting
the options to default, its setting the project file to the default
position.

Try restarting your machine and then just opening SAS only , set custom
option to default ever time then run the model and try to generate the
report.

Thanks,

Marc,

I restarted my machine, ran only SSA and  reset the output file directory to C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\SSA 2016\

after running the model and hitting the generate custom report button, i still get the same error message.

When SAS installs it installs a specific PDF printer, if you delete that printer it won't generate a report. You might be to the point you need to uninstall and reinstall?

Unfortunately, I did this yesterday.  I uninstalled Nova PDF and all of the autocad 2016 applications and reinstalled them.

NovaPDF reinstalled along with SSA, same error.  I am in the midst of setting up an account with Autodesk EPS support to create a ticket with them.

Good luck, I am out of ideas.

Sorry!
