I simply dont know what I am doing

Or maybe I do? But this program is making me feel
stupid <G>

I am trying to understand the ticks of the software
and keep coming up empty. My codes are set to a min slope 0.2% and max slope
10%  design velocity 2.5 fps

My first pipe has 6 cfs. My hand calculation says I
could flow at 3.5 fps @ 0.4% - so why is the program telling me  3.5 fps @
6.37% ! why does it not go to 0.4%

Thanks, Joe

Joe -
You do know what your are doing. Hydraflow is solving for the HGL,
while attempting to match the slope of the ground (based on depth) so
there may be other things going on. Most hand calculations attempt to
solve full flow pipe.
Do you mind email me your STM file? anderson at jaseng dot com.

I'd be honored, thank you but our company forbids us from connecting. Can I
connect at home?
