Hydraflow - SP2 Clarification

  • An issue has been resolved where junction loss was not properly computed in Hydraflow Storm Sewers.

Can Autodesk please clarify and elaborate what was done here involving junction losses.

Forum Moderator: Can you have someone from Autodesk respond to this. A short white paper would be helpful.

Was there a change in methodology?  What equations were changed if any. Was the junction loss methodolgy changed from the Approximate Method to the HEC 22 full method? Was inlet control addressed, supercrtitcal flow issues addressed, etc.

Fred,

If you get a response offline or from another source or thread, would you please share anything you learn here? I'm curious about this as well.

Thanks,

John
