Curve Number/Depression Depth

Hello,

I have been exploring the differences in Autodesk Storm and Sanitary (SWMM Engine) and Otthymo. I like the ease of use of the Autodesk product and would like to move over to it for our stormwater studies.

In Autodesk, why is it that I do not get a change in subbasin flows when I change the Curve Numbers? I run a model with a CN of 57, and If I change this number to 78 for example, my flows stay the exact same.

The same thing happens when I change my depression storage for pervious surfaces. 5.00mm and 10.00mm have no change in flows.

These two inputs are big parameters in Otthymo, before I can move over to Autodesk, I need to know why these parameters do not change flow, or if there is something I am doing wrong in the program.

Thanks,

Marc.

After you make the CN change do you run the Analysis?  Changes should follow.

Check your storage node exfiltration method also. And re-run.
