Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis (former StormNET) is now available!

Civil 3D and Map 3D subscription customers in North America can now download
Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis Stand-Alone.

Looking forward to using this group to talk about the product and your
projects!

head over to www.autodesk.com/subscription to download the extension!

If you aren't sure if you are on subscription, ask your CAD manager or
Autodesk reseller.

The Autodesk® Storm and Sanitary Analysis Stand-Alone 2011 Extension is a
comprehensive, hydrodynamic hydrology and hydraulic analysis application for
planning and designing urban drainage systems, storm sewers including
highway drainage systems, and sanitary sewers.

With this extension, engineers and planners using AutoCAD® Civil 3D® and/or
AutoCAD® Map 3D software can analyze both simple and complex networks
including:
? Inlets and catch basins
? Detention ponds and outlet structures
? Interconnected ponds
? Flow dividers, standpipes, weirs, and orifices
? Pumps and lift stations
? Manholes and junctions
? Rivers, streams, and ditches
? Culverts and bridges

Some of the key features and benefits of the Autodesk Storm and Sanitary
Analysis Stand-Alone Extension are:
? Bi-directional exchange of data with AutoCAD Map 3D and AutoCAD Civil 3D
? No limitation on the number of pipes or elements you can include in your
model
? Widely-accepted SWMM analysis engine
? Broad range of hydrologic methods
? Stormwater BMPs
? Detention pond design
? Stormwater quality modeling
? Customizable report generation for regulatory review
? GIS interoperability
? Work in either US or Metric (SI) units

I don't know if this helps everything, but I modeled the storm sewer in SSA and then exported it to a .stm file.

I then imported the .stm file through Civ3d.  Also found that I could then import same .stm file through the Hydraflow extension to create custom reports in that interface a bit easier.

If you have Excel, SSA can export the design and analysis to Excel for report creation.

it sure can, but HydraFlow has the DOT templates already set up so you don't have to monkey with the format.

This would be a great addition to SSA in the next round.

I would like to see all the report formats of Hydraflow (DOT, FL-DOT) plus add the formats requested by MSD in Louisville, KY as well.

Message 64 of 69

Can you point me to the resource to find the format for the MSD in Louisville?

Chart example is found at http://www.msdlouky.org/insidemsd/AutoCAD/PDFs/EXH4-11_CompositeDrainage-Layout1.pdf

The storm structure chart consists of

Actually I don not agree with you. I have worked with SewerGems , that is really user friendly, you can analyze and design networks (separate and combined) also can assign loads+Inflow +infiltration(flow/length) also defin a library for pipe section size and.....
But, I can't find these items at SSA-2013 !
I recentely started my job at a company, they have Civil3d+SSA2013.
I am encouraging my manager to switch to SewerGems , because of above reasons , also another issue is, I have tried to ask my questions at this website but after 4-5 months nobaody hasn't anwered to my questions.
Thanks Hamid

Can someone please help me to include the surface water lever at the outfall.

When I create the profile, it doesn't show the surface(maximum) water lever at the orifice location.
