I would love to see a "Reverse Data Extraction Tool"

Just do an export to xls file, modify the Excel file, then push that updated file *back* into all the relevant drawings.

my use case is that i'm auditing the attribute naming schemes of tons of blocks - i use DATAEXTRACTION to gain perspective, but ultimately i just end up using the Excel dump as a checklist to manually go through each file and update, say, the attribute Tag.

the entire job could be done in a couple minutes 🙂

(there was no option in teh pull down to choose just "AutoCAD" - i could only pick a vertical)

Unfortunatley there is no IdeaStation for plain AutoCAD.
