xref information

What does everyone use for getting xref information. I would like to snap or hover over the xref to get information regarding layer and linetype. Is their a command beisdes xlist? Not a big fan or the window popping up and having to close it all the time. Coming from MicroStation, any tips on using xrefs and getting their information would be great.

Thanks.

Running the command this way might help.:

-xlist

The hyphen will force the results to the command line instead of a popup dialog box.

I use EntityTracker, a command which comes with SincpacC3D. A Palette is displayed and kept on screen until closed...I have it open most of the time. It will list valuable information about all objects which lie under the crosshair apperture box.
