xml file error

when in part building i edit a part and want to save it as a different name i get a error saving xml file and it does not save the new part. any idea.

Hello Jason,

Typically this is caused by a permissions issue on your machine. First we would suggest selecting the Civil 3D desktop icon, right click, and select properties. In the dialog select the COMPATIBILITY tab and check the RUN PROGRAM AS AN ADMINISTRATOR under the Privilege Level heading. After doing this, test saving a new part and see if it helps. Also, please ensure you have full permissions to this folder and see if that helps: C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\C3D2012\enu\Pipes Catalog.
