working with cross sections and corridors

new at civil 3d. We have created a street and cut some cross sections. We have the assembly going to "daylight" to the existing ground. There are some sections, especially at driveways, where we need them to deviate somewhat from the assembly.  Is there a way to manually edit the cross sections, so as to "tweak" our grade lines? Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.

I try to avoid manual edits and set up the Assembly or Assemblies to include the driveways.

Daylights can be adjusted in Parameter Editor within Section Editor, but I'd recommend the Corridor setup.

One method is create Assemblies for the various dwy scenarios. rt, lt, both and use Corridor Regions to apply them.

Use the "Daylight to offset" Subassembly for driveways and create Miscellaneous alignments ie: Dwy Match Rt & Dwy

Match Rt at the proposed dwy match point / daylight. Note: when creating these Alignments include a PI to lt and rt

of every dwy for grip editing later.

Set the Corridor Targets for these driveway regions to these alignments.

Rebuild the Corridor> view them in Section Editor, note lt/rt offsets where you would like them to match.

Grip edit the Dwy Match Alignments inward or outward to fine tune as many times as you like, it's dynamic.

A more advanced method is to use one assembly for the boulevard and driveway cases which uses Conditional

"Horizontal Target" Subassemblies.

Using this approach allot can be done with one single assembly with the benefit only one or very few Regions.
