I've successfully setup Quantity Takeoff using item numbers, item name and unit; as well as formulas to get the output I want from my codes. The only question I have: is there a field for input of the unit price so a summary report will also output cost?

I think you have to port it over to excel. Is that what you ended up doing?

QTO is Quantity Take Off and it does just that, tells you how much you have of something. It does absolutely nothing with cost. As Matt suggested, take the results into Excel to do the costs.
