Maybe you could give us some context as to where you are reading that?

you are looking the the slope pattern section of help from what i can see,
and if you can tell us a little bit more about what you are trying to do...

I am not really a corridor minute detail person, so I don't even know when
you use slope patterns to tell you the truth.

Are you building a corridor?

Most of us here on the discussion group volunteer our time to answer
questions. So I apologize if our answers were not fast enough...

See the attached image. You can use slop paterns on grading objects and on
corridors. They provide a visual clue as to what the slop of the grade or
corridor is. The percentage of length is evidenced by my screen shot. As
you can see you tell the component what percentage of the length you would
like it to be at a given slope. The software the interpolates in between.
In my example, larger slope number results in a longer component.

I use grade on a site, but i don't know how to get the slope line offset when i select the slope line offset in the percent length calculating mode.can you give me a graph to explain?thanks!

it should just be a style to choose when you do your grading object.

what i puzzle is the slope line offset is not according with my
calculated value by the percent length,so want to know the calculating method, and want to know if it is a bug.

perhaps one of us could help if you posted the drawing.

Maybe I could.

But I don't have your styles.

From the looks of your help menu, you are in asia. I do not have asian
default templates.

I have absolutely no idea what you are looking at.

If you would like some help, you can post a drawing that has a grading
object in it with the incorrect style.

Otherwise, you can keep waiting.

I don't think I can help you.

What i was hoping you would post would be something that showed this that
you asked:

"what i puzzle is the slope line offset is not according with my
calculated value by the percent length,so want to know the calculating
method, and want to know if it is a bug."

I was expecting to see a drawing that showed:

1) a slope pattern style that you had either customized or circled the
parameter that you feel is calculating incorrectly

2) a sketch that shows what you think it should look like if it was "right"

I see nothing wrong with the slope pattern in this drawing as shown.

So, I cannot help you. Perhaps someone else here is willing to take this
on.
