What is the translation of Daylight to spanish ?

it is the join of two words : day and light ... 

I dont find any link with the geometrical mission  ....

Any english explanation ?

The origin of the use of the term "Daylight" comes from laying drainage pipe at some slope where the outlet will eventually intersect the natural ground, such that water can drain out on to the natural ground.

Here in my country we call it "talud", though, in the spanish version of civil 3D, these subassemblies are called "intersección" and are under the "Intersección" group in the tool palettes.

 

You could check this link and see if it adds more.

"Intersección" would, of course, be translated to "Intersection".
