weeding vertices

Civillers,

I have a question weeding lines

First let me explain whats going on.

I have

I have a pointcloud data

i have one line.

i need

ASCII with p/x/y/z/ a code/stationing.

heigts on line with these specs:

Heigtdifference  between 2 points smaller then 30 cm

max distance between 2 points 50 meters

min distance between 2 points 1 meter.

When i drop the line on a surface is has alot of vertices. and i want too weed it whit minimun demands from client.

do you have any suggestion? I would very glad iff someone know a automatic solution.

Thanks in advance.

Greets G.

You probably had "Insert intermediate grade break points" selected.

Recreate the Featureline without the intermediate points and add Elevation points using the increment option.

Thanks allen but then the points on the line will have then a contants increment.you miss something on 30 cm heigt difference because the dominant increment. And one of the clients his demand is take a everywhere a point between 1m meter and 50m and every 30 heigt diff.
I tried with weeding grade/dist/and angle combined....but i cant get a good feeling about it.
and it has to be wright...maybe some other suggestions?
