Wblock out line types

Wblock out line types

When I wblock out, say a line type for edge of road, all I get is a empty Wblock drawing, unless I explode the lines first.
Is there a way to wblock out lines without exploding them first ??

Wblock a linetype?

 

civil3d object don't wblock very well as you have seen. But linetypes can be dragged and dropped between drawing via design center.
