Viewport Issues

I'm having issues with viewports.  I set the viewport up, everything is working great and then all of a sudden I can not longer do anything in the viewport.  It will not allow me to change the scale or pan in the viewport.  The viewport is not locked.  The only thing I can do is delete the viewport and make a new viewport.  Any solutions?  Thanks

I would suggest posting the problem drawing. Anything suggested will be a shot in the dark.

That being said, my first thought is if the viewport is on DEFPOINTS, you should change it to a different layer. I've seen odd things occur when viewports reside on that layer. ~ Mary
