updates to xref path civil 3D 2009

I'm trying to update the paths for the xrefs in a series of drawings. In Autocad 2005, this could be done by going to XREF manager and selecting the xref and then browsing for the path to the updated xref and then saving the path. What is the procedure for Civil 3D 2009?

it's the same procedure, but instead of a dialog box, the XRef manager is a palette.

OK, I found the External References Palette. However, when I see the saved path and it is wrong, the status says not found. I have not found a way to select the correct path. I can detach and then attach the drawing again, but that messes up the multiple instances of insertion of the notes and other occurrences in the drawing set. Any ideas?

OK, I found where you right-click on the background and it brings up the details pane. Then click on the xref in questions and it displays the saved path and found at path. However, how do you update the saved path to be in the found at path location?

Got it. At the end of the Found at line in the detailed pane there is a set of three dots. Click on this and then a browser box comes up, select the correct path to the xref and then click ok. Both the Saved path and Found at path are now updated and saved in the drawing.

What about the times that the xref path is not found? At that point, the detail palette does not have the three dots to allow you to select the path as 2005 did witht he search option. How do you fix the path at that point?
